Our Services:
Gulf Coast International Cargo offers services in three
primary areas; ground handling services, consolidation and
storage, and logistics/brokerage services. GCIC can speed up
your supply chain with cross-dock and transload services.
Ground handling services includes loading and unloading cargo
from the aircraft, trucks, and sea containers. Pallet
breakdown, buildup, and loadmaster services are also
available.
Fumigation and X-ray services are available upon request or
directive. We also offer pre-cooling, palletizing, banding,
crating and shrink wrapping services. Consolidation and
storage services are also available to logistics, trucking,
and freight forwarding companies. The warehouse is equipped
with aircraft cargo handling equipment to support our clients.
Logistics and supply chain management services are utilized
through moving perishables quickly through the system
therefore maximizing shelf life and ensuring quality control
procedures are followed. Customs, USDA, and FDA agencies are
available onsite.
On- Site Features:
The GCIC facility offers on site US Customs inspection along
with X-Ray services to expedite your goods. Conveniently
located the US Customs Agriculture and USDA-APHIS-PPQ
Identifier offices provide rapid and efficient federal
inspection of those commodities. TSA Clearance is also
available.
Our state of the art facility offers a modern “Green”
temperature controlled fumigation; this system recaptures over
80% of the Methyl Bromide used. This recapturing system
reduces emissions as well as cost to our customers while
keeping the cold chain.
A series of cameras placed strategically in the facility
monitors the arrival and inspection process that is recorded
by a digital security software system. This security system
monitors all movement through and around our facility.
Gulf Coast International Cargo will begin offering Dangerous
Goods and Hazmat Training opening to local industry in late
January. This training will be available on and off site by
appointment.
